Congratulations to Brielle of Alexandra Park School, who won the Outstanding Progress Award at the Year 11 Graduation Ceremony this year.
It recognised her achievements for showing exceptional dedication, resilience, and determination throughout her time in school, making a lasting impact on the school community.
And that was exemplified by her achievements in Panathlon, competing in swimming, boccia, ten-pin bowling and Xtend tournaments.
Those competitions have provided a springboard into other sporting activity, including a gold medal for Team Haringey in the 50m kayak sprint at the London Youth Games.
The school says: “Brielle has faced challenges with courage and determination, proving that success comes from hard work, resilience, and a belief in oneself. She has set an inspiring example for younger students at APS and has contributed greatly to the spirit and success of our school. Brielle is a fabulous role model for her peers.”
And they add: “Her resilience is beyond most adults. Whatever has happened she comes in determined to succeed.
“She is a credit to her family, the school and a real role model to other young people.”
