bp has re-committed its support for our work by providing free fuel for our fleet of Panathlon vans that deliver over 700 events across England and Wales each year.
Last academic year, Panathlon’s competitions and events gave over 50,000 young people with disabilities and special needs opportunities to experience competitive sport that they are so often otherwise denied.
Our events take place in England and Wales all year round – and our partnership with bp enables us to deliver unique sporting experiences, from Cornwall to Cumbria and everywhere in between.
As well as reducing our costs, the partnership ensures our carbon footprint will continue to be be offset.
Liz Johnson, former Paralympic gold medallist and Panathlon’s Ambassador, said: “It is wonderful for bp to agree to this ongoing agreement that allows Panathlon to reduce its carbon footprint while continuing to gives so many children with disabilities and special needs unforgettable experiences.”
