Congratulations to our winning special school in the Wales national ten-pin bowling finals – Brynllywarch Hall School, who competed in Newtown. Diolch yn fawr to teacher Mathew Jones, who has written this article about the school’s experiences.
We feel very privileged to have been invited to participate in the bowling this week with Panathlon. Our learners have absolutely loved it! Some of them had never been bowling or even held a bowling ball before, so it was fantastic to give them that opportunity.
They were all so happy to receive certificates and medals, it’s the small things like that which they enjoy the most. All the staff on the day were extremely helpful throughout, and it’s something we will be looking to do again.
On winning – we’re over the moon! The learners deserve it from all the hard work they put in over the
school year academically and off site! We are very proud as a staff team to have such wonderful children represent our school with outstanding achievement and becoming Welsh National Champions.
