101 Competitors from 13 Central London schools in Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark competed in 7 sports today to see who would qualify for the Central London Final on March 6th.

The Team from Lambeth won the sports of Boccia, Kurling, Polybat and Athletics Field events and finished with 62 points overall from Wandsworth in second place who won Table Cricket and Athletics Races. Southwark came third on 48 points winning Football in the process.

Southwark – Spa, Haymerle, Cherry Garden, Alfred Salter, Highshore
Lambeth – Turney, Lilian Baylis, Lansdowne,
Wandsworth – Greenmead, Paddock Secondary, Paddock Primary, Linden Lodge, Oak Lodge

Panathlon has not only invested coaching monies, equipment and a structured multi-sport competitions in 2013, but has trained 45 Young Leaders in Wandsworth in Panathlon sports and 24 of them today officiated from 6 different schools in Wandsworth, which were – Garret Park, Southfields, St Cecilias, Graveney, Oak Lodge, and Burnt Wood .

Lambeth and Wandsworth will now meet Camden and Islington in the Central London Final on 6th March at the Westway Sports Centre, to see who will be crowned Central London Champions and who will qualify for the All London Final in June
