In partnership with Heathlands School, Frank Barnes and Arsenal Football Club we ran a deaf football competition on the 14th of July. The annual competition, which this year was held at Heathlands School in Saint Albans, saw 44 students competing for the Gold medal. Heathlands School, Frank Barnes School in Camden and Oak lodge School from Wandsworth comprised 7 teams of varying primary school ages.
Using a round robin format, all teams had the opportunity to play each other, but it was the blue team from Oak Lodge who played fantastically well as a team scoring in every match to take the Gold medal. The red team from Heathlands scooped the runners up trophy.
