Panathlon recently held a Primary Panathlon competition at Ellen Wilkinson Girls School for 4 local primary schools in Ealing. 28 students in total from Allenby School, Coston School, John Chilton School and Spring Hallow School attended the day and had the opportunity to take part in all primary activities. These included New Age Kurling, Precision Beanbag, Messi Football Skills, Flight Path, Table Cricket, Volleybat, Boccia Blast and Parachute Popcorn.
At the half way mark, Spring Hallow School had a comfortable and what seemed like an unassailable lead but a very strong performance from John Chilton School at Boccia Blast saw the result come right down to the wire. In the end, 2 points separated 1st, 2nd and 3rd places with John Chilton School coming out on top ahead of Spring Hallow School, Allenby School and Coston School respectively.
The leaders from Ellen Wilkinson Girls School showed excellent enthusiasm throughout the day and helped provide a fantastic atmosphere for all students to compete and have fun.
“I am going to look after my gold medal like it’s my baby! Thank you for a fun day”
Sanjeev, student at John Chilton School
“This has been a brilliant day. We have been to a couple of sports events before but the activities were too difficult for our students and that is why this appealed so much. The activities are suitable for our students and they absolutely love it. They have had a big smile on their face all day so thank you for organising this.”
