Panathlon hosted the East Regional Lord’s Taverners Boccia Competition at Mark Hall Sports Centre. 12 Teams and 9 Schools competed for a spot at the national finals!
The day was split into two separate competitions; Pan and Physical. Woodlands, Hichingbrooke and Beacon Hill schools had teams qualify in both classifications for the event, and joined Long Dean, Colne, Bushey Meads, Hertford and Ware, Knightsfield and Gretton schools for some high quality Boccia.
“Thanks for a great day yesterday, the students refereeing the games were the best I have come across to date. There was nothing I saw that was not correct or managed well.” Brandon Mullin, Beacon Hill School.
