Over 3 days of Panathlon events in Kent this week, we had 36 young leaders who organised and ran the events with us. Here’s some of the students from Canterbury thoughts on Panathlon –
“I absolutely loved being part of the panathlon challenge. It was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I was elated that the children seemed to love being there. The event was very well organised and the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. I also loved the fact that everyone got a medal and nobody went home with nothing.” Michelle Aloe
” I am a student for Astor College for the Arts . I was a young leader yesterday at the Panathlon Challenge at Canterbury east. I would like to say how much I enjoyed and I would like to recommend it to anyone who likes doing things for kids the best part of the day for me was seeing the children smile, it felt like I did something special for the young kids.” James Hayes
” I am writing to tell you that I was a young leader at the Panathlon Challenge on 4 May in Canterbury. I really enjoyed myself. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to work with children. I thought the best bit of the Panathlon was seeing the smiles on the children faces and the way they were determined to get points for their team. I think the panathlon is a brilliant way for the children to interacted with each other. Also I liked the way every person who took part got a medal.” Daniel Docwra
Big thanks to all our Young Leaders who played a huge part in Panathlon over the last 3 days.
