97 children from 9 schools attended the Merseyside Schools Pan Boccia Tournament on the 5th November at Greenbank Sports Academy. The standard of play has improved once again this year, with some excellent games throughout the day.
The quarter finals saw Clare Mount’s B team progress through to the semi finals after a 5-1 win over Sandfield Park A, alongside Lansbury bridge C who gained their spot in the semis after a narrowly beating Crosby High B 3-2. Woodchurch high and Knowlsey Central D also claimed their Semi Final spot with wins against Clare Mount A and Alt Bridge A. However it was a 9-1 Win for Clare Mount B over Lansbury Bridge C that saw them take the first spot in the final, followed by Knowsley Central D who remained unbeaten in the competition paving their way to the final and take the gold finishing with a 6-2 win over Clare Mount.

Knowsley Central D, Knowsley Central A, Woodchurch High, Clare Mount B and Lansbury Bridge C teams will be invited to represent the Merseyside area in the Lord Taverners Regional Pan Disability competition taking place on Thursday 7th February 2019 at Greenbank Sports Academy
