Panathlon delivered a Lord Taverners Pan Disability Boccia England Regional competition yesterday at Columbus School in Essex.

19 teams from 14 schools took part with leaders from St. John Payne (pictured left) officiating the matches.

Panathlon Ambassador, Freya Levy was also on hand to inspire the competitors.

The results were as follows –

1st Woodlands B,
2nd Glebe A,
3rd Beacon Hill,
4th Philip Morant A.

Glebe also were the top placed Primary school.

Mick Nixon from Woodlands School said, “This was the first occasion any children on our SEN register have had an opportunity to represent their school in a tournament and for most of them their first experience of competitive sport of any kind. The event was so well organised in excellent facilities and I’d like to say thank you on behalf of Woodlands school.”
