Hello everybody!
It has been a busy time at Panathlon Challenge, with plans now in place for the 2010-11 season. This season, Visually Impaired football will be added to the Panathlon Challenge programme, alongside the multi sport events, SLD Football and Powerchair Football. The vision is to create a hub V.I club in each pro-active region, that will provide coaching and competition for all players in the region. To assist our coaches with all these sports, we have no fewer than three FREE coaching courses for you to access.
The first, Coaching Disabled Footballers, took place at the Westway Sport Centre on October 15th. The other courses will take place on November 12th at Linden Lodge School (Coaching Visually Impaired Footballers) and December 20th at Talacre Sport Centre (Coaching Powerchair Footballers). To register your interest for either of these courses, please e-mail me at the address below. As with all courses, places are limited, and once fully booked, candidates will be placed on a reserve list.
This season will also be the first that every borough within London will take part in Panathlon events, making it bigger and better than ever before! To accommodate all the boroughs, there will be more matches and more tournaments than in previous seasons. The first football tournament will take place in the West on January 13th, with the Grand Final on June 16th. For a full set of fixtures and training days, keep an eye on our website.

Good luck for the year ahead!
