The Merseyside Panathlon for primary students took place at the Greenbank Academy on March 4th, involving 90 children from the 6 local authorities, Halton, St.Helens, Knowlsey, Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton. Knotty Ash School also attended with 8 hearing impaired/deaf children giving us a total of 98 children. The sports were Table Tennis, Football, Athletics and Boccia.

On hand to hand out medals and wish the competitors well is Shelley Woods, GB Paralympian who won silver and bronze in Beijing. Shelley is also the winner of the London Marathon and she inspired competitors with her thoughts on winning medlas for Team GB in Beijing this summer.
