Over 100 athletes with MLD took part in 7 sports at Carew Manor School today between Sutton, Croydon and Bromley. Sport Unlimited funding through the Pro-Active South partnership enabled coaching sessions in the build up for teams from Bromley and Croydon in several sports.
Eventually after a tight days competition – The Glebe School from Bromley ran out winners with 62 points, from Bensham Manor (Croydon) in 2nd, and the 2 teams from Carew manor in Sutton in 3rd and 4th.
The sports competed for were, Cricket, Football, Kurling, Draughts, Netball, Uni-Hoc and Athletics.
