Could this be Panathlon’s oldest supporter?
Panathlon were delighted to welcome Barbara to an event in Blackpool recently – and amazed to learn that she is an incredible 101 years old!
Barbara is the mother of Richard Jennings, the chair of the D and L Charitable Trust, who are supporting Panathlon events in the region.
“We are a small charity and we want to help smaller events and smaller organisations do something,” he explains.
“It engages all the children in different activities, and it’s fun, which is what sport should be all about.”
