Panathlon welcomes a new CEO, Jason Kilby.

A chartered management accountant by profession, and most recently the CEO of the Amateur FA, Jason lives in Loughton, Essex with his wife Helen and two children, Amabel, aged 16, and Ben, aged 14.

Jason explains that Ben is part of the reason he wanted to take on the role with Panathlon.

“Ben has cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus,” he says. “He has won silver and bronze Panathlon medals, so I heard about Panathlon a few years ago.”

The pair share a support for Tottenham Hotspur and a love of F1 – although Jason is a Lewis Hamilton fan while Ben backs McLaren and new world champion Lando Norris!

Jason is also chair of the National Cerebral Palsy Football League, and coaches young people with cerebral palsy.

Jason says he works by fostering open communication, encouraging collaboration and supporting individuals within an environment defined by teamwork, respect and a shared purpose.

Liz Johnson, chair of the Panathlon Foundation, said: “We are delighted that Jason has joined us and I’m really excited to work with him moving forward as we continue to build on the legacy that our previous CEO Ashley Iceton has created. We look forward to successful years ahead.”

Everyone wishes Jason the very best of luck in his new role.
