Over the last 2 days we have trained and qualified 26 new Panathon Young Officials in London. On Tuesday we visited the Petchey Academy in Hackney, where we delivered the course to their A-Level and BTEC PE students. They understood the theory course very well and we will look forward to them demonstrating their skills at the East London Panathlon competitions in the New Year. Today we were at St Matthews Academy in Lewisham where we delivered the Panathlon Young Officials Course to 16 GCSE PE students.

Kasia Blazejewska, “I decided to do the Panathlon course as I believe in helping others, especially children who are less able than me. It always brightens up my day and very satisfying! I would like to become a PE Teacher so this course was great for the future as well.”

Maria Arevalo, “This is a new experience for me, which I have enjoyed. The course has helped me understand what I have to do come the competition. I am excited to help at the Panathlon Challenge competition coming up.”
