Panathlon were at The Petchey Academy today training a group of A-Level and BTEC P.E. students in disability sports. We spent four hours with the group learning the sports, then ending with some practice games played and officiated by the students. It was particularly fulfilling leading a training session at the Petchey Academy as the Jack Petchey Foundation has been such a great supporter of Panathlon.

We hope that these students will be able to get involved at the London Final and we’ll be able to continue to work with the Academy in the years to come. Here’s what the students said,

“The Panathlon Challenge training was an amazing experience. I have enjoyed learning how to play polybat, new age kurling, table cricket and boccia.” Syllestina Meade

” We enjoyed being able to learn all sorts of sports and activities that we haven’t come across before.” Kim Nguyen
