Panathlon’s latest coaching session was delivered at the Village School in Brent on the 6th November. 42 primary students, from 6 different classes at the school took part in different activities that included Flight Path, New Age Kurling, Boccia Blast and Volleybat. With a focus on coaching and learning, opposed to competition, students had the time to ask questions and watch demonstrations before tackling the activities at their own pace.
“All the students here today were new to the majority of these games, but it looked like they enjoyed themselves and it’s these opportunities that will hopefully get them playing more competitive sport in the future” Johnathan Bath, Head of PE at The Village.
Thanks to the John Lyon’s Charity for funding this area of delivery.
