On the 4th February, Panathlon visited Woodlands School in Harrow. With support from the John Lyons Charity, 14 SLD students at the school had the opportunity to take part and compete against their fellow peers in 5 Panathlon activities.
With Boccia Ball Blast, New Age Kurling, Flight Path, Parachute Popcorn and Precision Beanbag on offer, it was an extremely balanced competition all morning, but the Blue team struck gold with a fantastic score on Precision Beanbag.
Congratulations to all students for taking part and improving their skills in some activities that were completely new to them. We hope to see you at our next competition to play against the other boroughs!
“Thanks very much for coming in. They have all come back to the classroom saying they have had a fantastic time and they want to do more. My class were the winners too so it’s all smiles!!”
