Panathlon’s first coaching session of the year took place at Marjorie Mclure School in Bromley on the 24th of October.  Our new Multi-sports coach Chris, delivered 6 primary Panathlon sports to 13 eager students ranging from 6 to 10 years old. Boccia Blast, Flight Path, New Age Kurling, Table Cricket and Precision Beanbag were among the sports played, but the newly devised Volleybat game was a real favourite among the students.

Primary Coaching BromleyStudents took part in teams of 4 throughout the day, tallying their points as they went until finally the scores were collated and the green team, narrowly sealed the victory.

Away from the competitive aspect of the day however, there were some fantastic performances. In particular from Kieran, a student at Marjorie McClure who “Often doesn’t join in with sporting activities, and so to see him taking part today, in that environment where there are lots of people around and distractions, shows real progress” said Guy Wilkins, PE teacher at Marjorie McClure. Furthermore, credit must be given to the 18 Young Leaders from Coopers School who showed real enthusiasm throughout the day and demonstrated leadership skills beyond their years. well done to all !
