On the 17th June 2014, Panathlon visited Strathmore School in Richmond to deliver an in school Primary Panathlon Coaching day. The day acted as an introduction to 4 of the Primary activities including Boccia Blast, New Age Kurling, Parachute Popcorn and Flight Path. 28 students from both Key stage 2 and 3 had a morning of activity and after having some tips about technique and tactics, will now be able to put a team forwards for next years West London competition.
‘Thanks for an amazing morning. Our students really enjoyed it and got so much from it. The medals were brilliant because we’ve been to so many events in the past where they don’t even get a certificate at the end- you can see what it meant to them. We’ll be having another award ceremony for them on Friday, handing there medals out again in assembly.’ Louise Ross, Teacher at Strathmore
