99 Young disabled people from the 6 Merseyside Boroughs competed in the Primary Panathlon at the Greenbank Sports Academy on Wednesday 3rd March 2010. This included 10 deaf / hearing impaired children from Knotty Ash and 20 children from Mainstream education. Two wheelchair athletes were talent spotted and introduced to the Knowsley Challenge wheelchair racing club that friend of Panathlon, and London Marathon winner Shelley Woods is a member ! Congratulations to you all. The Secondary Panathlon in Merseyside takes place next Wednesday on 10th March.
