“Our school (Hall Mead School) run a learning support physical activity club every lunchtime and approx 30 students attend. After some free Boccia coaching, we jumped at the opportunity to take part in the Havering Boccia competition, which to our delight we won ! This led to us competing in the Panathlon Challenge today. It has been extremely well organised and the student leaders have been polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Full credit to those invovled. The free T-shirt initiative for the teams has given the students a high profile and they are wearing their medals with pride. For Havering, we finished in silver medals in Boccia and Gold medalists in Kurling and Football. Many thanks to Panathlon Challenge, you have provided a memory and experience the children will never forget. Keep up the great work !”
